The following is a breakdown of my pricing for those who are very familiar with quilting and understand what it takes to put a quilt together.The following is not easy to understand, SORRY!First:If you are going to send me a quilt top and all that I am doing is "Quilting" the design by hand, the price will be $1.25 per yard of thread used. Second:If you want me to make and add the binding to your quilt top, it is $20.00 for lap, crib and baby size quilts, on a king and queen size it's $35.00. Most wallhangings are $20.00. Next:If you send the blocks and I need to use the sewing machine to piece them together and or you send all of the materials for the project and I need to cut the design and piece it together, I charge $15.00 per hour for my time. Finally:Marking of the design, using your templet, I charge $15.00 per hour. If you perfer to mark it yourself, PLEASE use something that will not rub off (like chalk) but something that will not harm or stain the material! Custom Quilts:Here the price will depend on the size, pattern, material and the time involved to finish the project. Deposit:50% is required to get the project started, then when I get the quilt done I'll notify you of the balance due. When I receive the final payment I will then mail out the project.
