We think
Started
living with us in Jan of 2013
It was
2010 we started seeing this cat in our fields
hunting the prairie dogs. Then Cindy noticed he
was coming in the house through the upstairs cat
door and eating, took her 2 winters to be-friend
him. In the winter of 2013 we made friends and he
has been staying in the house ever since. He is a
fighter as you can see.
At
first he was very shy and had a lot of battle
scars and wounds that needed tending to.
After about 2 weeks of
going in and out on his own he decided he liked moms rocker, he
laid there and let me rub him and get the scabs off him.
Half asleep.
Can't see in his mouth but he has just one upper fang and one
lower, most front teeth are gone, has his back teeth... OMG!!
Lays there like a dog
and weighs in at just under 16 pounds
He was beat up bad and
we kept him in for several days, lock down.
Then he got out and was
gone 3 days and came back beat up bad.
what a mess, 4 puncture
wounds in the left leg and could not walk on it at all, not sure
how he got back here.
Had a nice whole on the
side of his head..
After 2 weeks in the
house this time he is at home and has been fixed.
He learned to go out and
play some with Shadow.
He is on his own now,
goes in and out as he wants, if we could just him to go out now,
he has found his little heaven.
Got him to go out today
with me and rake the gravel from the bar ditches.. He had fun and
just stayed close by.
